Agreement & Payment Notice

When you pay—whether by card, Venmo, PayPal, or any digital method—you’re saying “Yes, I agree to these terms.” Your payment counts the same as signing a contract.

Work doesn’t start only when files arrive. Once I block time on my calendar, start planning, set up sessions, review materials, or begin any preparation, work has officially begun. After that point, payments are non-refundable.

What You’re Hiring Me To Do

We’ll do exactly what we discussed at the start—whether that’s recording, mixing, mastering, production, editing, consulting, or development work.

What you might receive includes:

• Finished mixes or masters
• Edited or cleaned-up files
• Notes or documents from consultations
• Session-ready files
• Project exports or reference tracks

How long this takes depends on:

• How quickly you send files
• How organized they are
• How fast you give feedback
• How complicated the project is

If you take longer than expected to respond, send missing files, or delay revisions, timelines don’t automatically shift.

What I Need from You

You agree to:

• Send files organized, clearly named, and ready to use
• Give feedback in one clear round per revision—not scattered messages
• Keep copies of your own files

If delays happen because of missing files, unclear direction, or slow responses, payment schedules stay the same.

Refunds & Cancellations

• Once work has begun, payment is non-refundable.
• If you cancel after I’ve already started working, payment covers time already invested.
• Canceling studio days less than 48 hours before the session means that day is forfeited.
• Any exception is at my discretion—not automatic.

This includes behind-the-scenes work most people don’t see: scheduling, file prep, listening, session setup, and planning.

What Cannot Be Guaranteed

Creative work doesn’t guarantee outcomes like:

❌ playlist or editorial placement
❌ press, radio, or blog features
❌ grant or label decisions
❌ streams, attention, or revenue

What is guaranteed:

✓ professional-level work
✓ technical accuracy
✓ sincere effort toward your vision
✓ alignment with the goals we discuss

Responsibility & Limitations

I am not responsible for:

• lost earnings or opportunities
• distribution issues on streaming platforms
• mistakes caused by file handling on your side
• changes you make after delivery

If something goes wrong, compensation cannot exceed what you paid.

Ownership & Usage

You always own your songs, performances, and final delivered masters (once paid in full).

You do not automatically own raw sessions, multitracks, or engineering documents unless we agree otherwise in writing.

Unless you request confidentiality before delivery, I may reference the project in:

• my portfolio
• credits
• educational materials
• studio marketing

You still own the music—this is simply industry-standard crediting.

In short:
Paying means you agree.
Once work starts, payments aren’t refundable.
You provide organized materials and timely feedback.
I deliver at a high professional standard.
Creative results cannot be guaranteed.
You own your music; I may show my involvement unless asked not to.
